By the year 2030 there will be a radical transformation in the business world.
Based on research conducted by Deloittes and PwC this will be caused by two major factors:
As technology becomes cheaper and more advanced, the ability to do business across the globe becomes easier for more organisations.
This globalization will naturally create engagement and inclusion challenges with more people working from home, in different time zones, with different cultures...etc.
2. Changing Demographics
At the same time we are seeing a change in workplace demographics as large numbers of the Baby Boomers retire leaving organisations with skills shortage gaps, particularly in the area of leadership.
Because of this, developing new leaders and succession planning will become more important and recruiting and retaining talent will become more competitive than ever. There is a real risk that businesses could fail if people in the organisation don't transfer their knowledge and wisdom with each other.
In the future these two factors will fundamentally be impacting an organisation's effectiveness and its ability to reach its goals.
My role is to assist organisations through this time of change by developing the leadership capabilities of their people.
